Get KYC Tiers & Requirement
LedgerBlock uses KYC tiers to determine the level of user verification required before specific features and financial capabilities can be accessed.
Each tier has its own verification requirements and unlocks additional LedgerBlock and supported third-party features. A user must satisfy the requirements of a tier before accessing the capabilities available at that level.
Use this endpoint to retrieve the current KYC tiers, their verification requirements, and the features available at each tier.

How KYC Tiers Work
KYC tiers provide a progressive verification model. As the user completes higher levels of verification, additional financial capabilities become available.
A merchant can use this endpoint to determine:
- What information must be collected from a user.
- What verification level the user needs for a particular capability.
- Which LedgerBlock features become available at each tier.
- Which additional services can be accessed after completing a tier.
For example, Tier 1 provides basic verification and access to capabilities such as wallet PIN setup and crypto deposits, while Tier 2 adds capabilities such as local wallet creation, NGN bank account opening, global transfers, wallet-to-wallet transfers, and currency swaps. Tier 3 extends access to international currency accounts and CAD funding.
