Verify Transaction

The Verify Transaction endpoint allows merchants to verify the status and details of a transaction after it has been initiated.

A transaction can be verified for the following transaction types:

Swap
Buy
Collection

Use transaction verification to confirm whether a transaction was successfully completed, is still processing, or failed.

Supported Transactions

Transaction Type	Description
Swap	Verify the status of a currency swap transaction.
Buy	Verify the status of a buy transaction.
Collection	Verify the status of a collection transaction.

Transaction Verification Flow

Initiate Transaction → Obtain Transaction Reference → Verify Transaction → Confirm Transaction Status

The transaction reference generated during the transaction is used to verify its current status.

When to Verify a Transaction

Transaction verification can be used when:

The transaction response is pending or inconclusive.
You need to confirm whether a transaction was successfully completed.
You need to retrieve the latest transaction status.
You need to reconcile a transaction after processing.

Important: Always verify the transaction status before treating a transaction as successfully completed when the initial transaction response does not provide a final status.
