Utility Integration

Follow the steps below to integrate utility services into your application using LedgerBlock.

Step 1: Get Product Categories

Use the Product Categories endpoint to retrieve all utility product categories available on the system. These categories help you identify the types of services users can purchase.

Step 2: Get Categories Available in a Country

Use the Get All Operators endpoint to retrieve operators and filter the results by the selected country and category ID.

For example, if a user selects Canada and the Vouchers and PIN category, display the operators available for that country and category.

Step 3: Get Products by Operator

Use the Get Specific Operator endpoint to retrieve the products offered by a selected operator.

Allow the user to select an operator and display its available products.

Step 4: Select a Product

Allow the user to select a specific product from the operator's product list. Capture the selected Product ID and Operator ID, along with the required purchase details.

Step 5: Make a Purchase

Use the Generic Purchase endpoint to initiate the utility purchase. Include the Product ID, Operator ID, currency, and other required details in the request.

Process the response to determine the purchase status and display the appropriate result to the user.
